Our newly painted cabins are conveniently located on the lakefront and near the dining hall. Each of our 3 rustic cabins sleeps 14, with the ability to collectively hold 42 overnight guests.
With 320 acres of wooded land our campus has plenty of space to set up tents and camp. It is easy to get back to the basics and enjoy natural spaces on our grounds.
Dining Area and Meal Options
Kresge Dining Hall, overlooking beautiful Lake Handsome, seats 100 people. The facility can be utilized for meals, meetings, or activity areas. Within the hall, a smaller space is available for more private meetings. Meal options are available upon request.
Pavilions and Shelters
Scattered throughout the property are pavilions for group use, one of which has a wood-burning fireplace. Pavilions can be used for lunch, as a gathering place, or to run programs.
Lake Handsome offers a great spot to go for a swim, canoe, or conduct environmental education while investigating the natural environment and wildlife.
Open Programming and Activity Areas
Our large open activity field allows groups to be creative with their programming. The field is large enough to conduct multiple team sport activities such as soccer or flag football, field days, or any type of active or passive program.
3 miles of hiking and nature trails exist throughout campus. You are bound to spot deer, turkey and other wildlife while enjoying the comfort and quaintness of the outdoors.
Perfect for sports teams or to incorporate physical fitness in any program. Our fit trail is a half-mile in length and consists of 10 different stations including pull ups, sit ups, stretching, balance beams, dips, and more. Each station is 150 feet apart, strengthening the endurance of those who utilize it.
